    Microsoft Advertising updates on reports 

    Microsoft Advertising reporting tools have a new look. The home page has been redesigned to give you faster access to your key resources, particularly the most important reports and recommended templates. 

    In addition to updating the home page, Microsoft has integrated a new custom report generator. Now, your reports can be tailored to your specific needs. For example, you can: 

    • choose from a wide range of indicators, 
    • apply filters, 
    • add breakdowns (by device or by audience), 
    • record your reports with ease, 
    • or schedule them for later use. 

    All these options simplify data analysis. You regain control over your reports and performance. All with less effort.

    PMax new products

    In 2025, Performance Max continues to evolve with changes to the auction dynamics. More specifically, the prioritisation between PMax and Standard Shopping campaigns is changing. 

    Prior to the Microsoft Advertising updates, PMax was always given priority when two bids overlapped. That is, if they were in the same account and targeted the same products. 

    This is no longer necessarily the case today. The priority campaign is now the one with the highest ad ranking. This is exactly the same as with other types of bidding. With this update, Microsoft Advertising offers its advertisers greater flexibility. 

    Please note that while this change may seem to put PMax on the same level as campaigns, it remains the most sophisticated AI product. Proof of this is that its campaigns generate 39% more conversions than those using Standard Shopping alone. 

    In addition to auctions, PMax offers new features such as: 

    • the use of scripts, 
    • automated rules, 
    • copying and pasting asset groups,
    • setting targets for acquiring new customers. 

    Once again, the aim is to help advertisers manage their campaigns more effectively. 

    Google and Meta imports with Microsoft Advertising 

    Microsoft Advertising updates simplify Google and Meta Ads imports. You can now import the first image from carousel ads in these tools and integrate them directly into your Audience ads.

    The result? You save time by reducing the amount of manual work required to switch between platforms. 

    In addition, Microsoft Advertising provides you with a new tool for detecting and recommending solutions to import issues. You can quickly resolve bugs to maintain maximum performance for each of your campaigns. 

    Shopify’s global reach 

    With the Microsoft Channel app, Shopify e-merchants can advertise directly on Advertising. No need to leave Shopify—their product catalogue syncs with Microsoft Advertising before appearing on Microsoft Bing and MSN Shopping pages as product ads. 

    And since the update, this possibility has been extended to new markets, such as France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Japan, Australia and the United Kingdom (no longer just the United States and Canada).
